The second day morning, we got up quite early in the morning to have our FREE breakfast that provided by the hostel. With £ 34 for 3 nights, we got free breakfast EVERY morning, unbelievable right??? Guess what we had for breakfast, mouldy bread and tasteless coffee/tea ! Sad rightt?? that's what i don't like bout budget trip, sometimes i prefer travelling with family~

After te cathedral, we went to The Scotch Whiskey Experience, the place which costed us £ 7.50 for a guided tour on the production of Scotch Whisky and a free demo on how to appreciate whisky.

demo on how to appreciate Whiskey, ah... i have zero knowledge in alcohol, not to say whiskey, i don't even know how to drink beer =.=
The tour guide taught us bout "malt” and “grain" whiskey, "nosing" and "tasting", the colour, the body, smelling~ ahh.. hahaha..don't ask me, i dont remember any of it.
Then he gave each of us a glass of whiskey to smell and taste. Took a few sip, really can't finish it although i had paid like RM 52.50. Luckly we brought along the Imperial Kid with us =P , eventually he helped me to finish the whole class of whiskey. hahaha... kids nowadays.. haih... we were so good girls back to our time. =P

Before that, i thought this is a whiskey factory which show us the process of making whiskey, mana tau, they showed us video instead of the real process.. haih..see !! told you !! UK got lots of "gan seong" everywhere con people's money...!!
I bought a 12 years highland whiskey for Mr.Ng as his birthday present.. hahaha.. he loved it very much and keep it in the room, scared my aunties come and steal his whiskey =P
We planned to go Cannogate to look at the Holyrood Palace. So again we walked all the way down the hill to find the place. On the way to CannonGate, we passby the Birth Place of Harry Potter.
They said this is the place where the author of Harry Potter wrote the stories and had inspiration by looking at the view from this restaurant.
After that, we had Subway for our dinner. Yes... UK is all about fast food =( which caused me to have burger phobic for few weeks. After dinner we walked to Cannongate, and on the way there, we saw this love shape thingy.outside st giles catheral. and this is the place where Imperial Kid wanted to take picture and realized that his Nikon D40x left in Subway. While waiting for him to get back his camera, we waited at the roadside, and the stupid me was so excited of this love shape , i stood inside the love and told Ginna that i felt so warm because I am cover with lots of love. hahaha....till the next day, when we went for the free guide, the tour guide told us that St Giles Catheral was former site of the Tolbooth Prison. The love shape is where executions traditionally took place and the local custom is to spit as they pass.. he said this is the dirtiest place in Edinburgh !!! wtf... stupid me =.="

As planned, we wanted to go to Holyrood Palace but it was too late and the place was closed. Accidentally we found this new building nearby Holyrood Palace, after all days looking at the old building, we saw the new and nice design building. This place called "Mother Earth", =.=" sound weird right,this is actually a museum, but it was closed to have some event on Christmas.
On the way back to Royal Miles, we past by University of Edinburgh, the top 10 university in UK~ fuiyoh ~ dengan tak malunya, 3 of us took pictures infront of the uni and pretend like we r the students there =P While waiting for the time to reach 7.30pm for our night activity, we hang out in Starbucks.
They were singing in starbucks~ zi zi said that the western people sing better than Asian =P *no comment* haha.. but its really enjoy sitting in Starbucks~ drinking Frapuccino and listen to songs~~
