The British Museum

The Queen had complaint about her bored life of rotting and dying in her tidy box since few days back. To entertaint ,ops.. i mean to make her happy of her life here in UK with me, i suggested we go to Greenwich today, heard that there's a very nice place for vocation and you can stand on the Greenwich line, hopefully the time stop and we wont grow older =P ...

Unfortunately, it rained this morning !!!!!! And i purposely woke up early in the morning to take shower, I don't know what to say about ang moh.. but their system, haihh... not efficient at all !! The water heater was not working since last week ! and its only work early in the morning, before 8.30am, after 8.30 mean.. good luck=P u r not going to show till the next day, or the nextx next next day ~ Okie, back to Greenwich, due to the rainny day and the super strong wind, we changed our plan and decided to go some place there's warm and educative. =P which is the British Museum !!

and then we came to the Mummy section ~

all internal organs, except the heart were usually removed from the body during mummification, and this jars here were used to preserve the organs ..ewwww

The Egyptians believed that there were six important aspects that made up the human being: The physical body, shadow, name, sprit, personality, and the immortality. They said each of these were very important and played a major role in achieving rebirth in the afterlife. They believed an intact body was the most important part of a person's afterlife. Without this physical body there was no shadow, no name, no bla bla bla.. and by mummification they believed they were fulfilling all six aspects. While reading through all these,we found something really disgustic...Guess how they actually remove the brain??? A long hook is then used to smash up the brain and pull it out through the nose,, through the nose man !!! YOUR BRAIN WAS PULLED OUT THROUGH THE NOSE !!! wtffff....... !

The is the Great Hall of British Museum, it looks like a cafeteria for me~

The British Museum is currently having this First Emperor's exchibition, its something bout the china's terracotta army .. thought of going, but~ 12 POUNDS !! kai wan xiao !! more expensive then the entrance fees for Edinburgh Castle ! so~ forget bout it, we will just look at the picture...
