does it really exist?

i asked boi boi before,
i remembered he answered me tat
" of cos, look at those grandpa-and grandma... they together with each other till the day they died.."
but what if one die first than the other one?? for the one who pass away, yea~ its true tat his/her partner stay with him/her forever.. but what bout the other one????
isn't very unfair??
